Please review the following volunteer job categories. Decide which of these you are most interested in and best suited for. Then download the sign up sheet. You will be called or emailed about the orientation for you job and we'll put you to work!

Concession Stand and Auditorium Clean up
Job Description
Sell and serve concession goods at public events
Clean up bathrooms and auditorium at conclusion of event
Act as usher for reserved seat live productions
Staffing
4 volunteers at movies and small events
6 volunteers at large events
Time Requirement
Low
1.5 hours/assignment plus time of the live event or movie
Usually evenings, weeknights and weekends. Some weekend afternoons.

Guide & Poster Distribution
Job Description
Place event posters and program guide at locations in La Conner, Burlington,
Mount Vernon, Sedro Woolley, Stanwood, Anacortes, Bellingham
Staffing
7 volunteers, one for each city/town
Time Requirement
Low
2 hours for each placement run; 2 times per month
Usually in day time (when businesses are open)

Community Relations
Job Description
Act as liaison between the theatre and various community constituents,
presenting the Lincoln story and handing out materials. These are
informal, friendly situations, not formal presentations.
Examples:
Food Coop Discount Day table
Lincoln Open House information table
Membership Drive Community tables
Staffing
10-12 volunteers
Time Requirement
Low
4 hours per month
Usually on a weekend, day time

Thrice A Year Clean Sweep
Job Description
Repairing and cleaning in all areas of theatre
Examples: fixing door hardware; shampooing carpets; cleaning windows; waxing floors
Skills in painting, carpentry and plastering especially desired
Staffing
Up to 10 volunteers; supervised by Lincoln staff
Time Requirement
Low
8 hours once every 3 months
On a weekend during day

Stage Crew
Job Description
Setting up and tearing down the theatre’s thrust stage
Transporting light and sound equipment
Removing and re-installing theatre seats
Staffing
4-6 volunteers supervised by Lincoln staff
Time Requirement
Medium
8-12 hours an average of once every two months
Time of work varies; could be weekday or weekend

Ticket Selling
Job Description
Use of theatre management software
Dealing with public in person and on telephone
Selling tickets and processing payments
Requires regular, reliable attendance
Training will be given prior to starting job
Staffing
5 volunteers supervised by qualified Lincoln staff
Time Requirement
High
5-6 hours per week
Week days; 11:30 to 5:00 PM

Technical Crew
Job Description
Running stage lights during a live event
Running DVD film projector
Requires regular, reliable attendance
Requires physical ability to climb a ladder to get into the projection booth
Training will be given prior to starting job
Staffing
2-4 volunteers
Time Requirement
Medium
5-10 hours per month
In evening weekdays and weekends
