Dinner and a movie go together perfectly especially when it's a foodie-film at the Lincoln followed by a cooking class at Gretchens Kitchenware store!
All summer long the Lincoln and Gretchens will be presenting a monthly Film and Food Series on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Come see a food-focused film at the Lincoln at 1pm, and then head to Gretchens Kitchenware store afterwards to eate and learn how to make food from the film!
We're kicking things off on Saturday, June 15th with the charming and magical film Chocolat. Set in a sleepy French village in the 1960's, the prudent town is turned upside down when a mysterious stranger opens a chocolate shop. These new treats open the sensations of the villagers and soon everyone is adding some sweetness to their lives. The gorgerous shots of truffles being made and meals concocted is sure to awaken a hunger in viewers, which the pastry chef Erik Morris will satisfy!
After the film, movie-goers will head down the block to Gretchens Kitchenware store where Chef Morris will have everything ready in the professional demonstration kitchen to tempt and teach tastebuds all about chocolate.
