Able Feast Series - TORTILLA SOUP
May 7

Inspired by Ang Lee's “Eat Drink Man Woman,” this 2001 film with a Mexican flavor is the story of three grown sisters trying to cope with -- and live with -- their father (Hector Elizondo), who has one simple rule: be home for Sunday dinner!

Director Maria Ripoll relocates the story of a master chef and his three daughters from Taipei to East Los Angeles, with a well chosen cast, and the presentation of food can't help excite the salivary glands.

“It's so brimful of life you can't say no.” Washington Post
