This is not your usual comic melodrama about the Wild West. Sure,
there’s the heroine, the hero and the villain, but they’re
all a little off center. Annie is a sexy school marm who calms down
her students with a sixshooter. Our hero drowns his frustrations
with a stiff shot of skimmed milk and our villain seems to be a
tiny bit dominated by his mother, owner of the Juicy Dog Biscuit
Saloon.
What’s more, you’ll find everyone in this light-hearted
comedy strangely familiar. No wonder. They are all leaders in our
community – more than 20 of them. If you’ve ever wanted
a chance to have a good natured laugh along with our county commissioners,
city mayors, state representatives, heads of Chambers of Commerce,
city council members and other well-known members of our community
– now’s your chance. They’ll all be up on stage
camping it up, forgetting their lines and otherwise having a great
time—all in the name of raising funds for the Lincoln Theatre
and the Skagit Performing Arts Council.
Get your tickets now. These two shows are sure to be sell-outs!
