Side Show Auditions

Tuesday, Apr 17, 6:00 pm
Wednesday, Apr 18, 6:00 pm

Theater Arts Guild is proud to present Side Show, the musical live on stage October 5th – 20th, 2018 at the very fitting location of The Historic Lincoln Theatre (an old vaudeville performance theatre!)

In the Art Bar: Dee Doyle

During the month of March, in the Lincoln Theatre’s Art Bar, Dee shares an eclectic group of paintings with one common theme … Color.  Dee combines major design elements and composition in both representational and non-objective abstract pieces to exhibit color as the unifying theme of her show. We all recognize “things” in painting, but when one doesn’t “see” a thing in an abstract, why not enjoy line, form, value and color for their own sakes? Dee hopes you enjoy the color in her Art Bar Show.

Into the Woods

A Tony Award®-winning musical classic by Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine

Into the Woods reacquaints us with the most enchanting Brother's Grimm folklore, and characters that we not only adored in our youth, but also continue to pass on to our children today. Joining Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and, of course, Little Red Riding Hood, is a childless Baker and his Wife. Of course, no fairy story would be complete without a Witch!

Closed for Private Event

Monday, Mar 12, 6:00 pm

The Lincoln Theatre is a multi use facility, offering the community, in addition to films, the opportunity to present live performances, weddings, conferences, memorial services & fundraiser events.

Special Events at the Lincoln are unique, wonderful experiences for the audience.

In the Art Bar: Clare Tatarsky

I cannot remember a time when I did not make art. I grew up in a family where art was part of everyday life. My mother sewed clothing and dolls, my father made dioramas, my sister took fabulous photos, and my brother made stop action films. Art is still part of my daily life.

The paintings in this show combine my love of pattern with Doodles collected from a variety of sketchbooks.  The sculptures are mostly extensions of the creatures that appear in my paintings.

In the Art Bar: Addy Nydegger

"I didn't know I could paint until nursing school. I was recently married, living in a dark dreary basement apartment. Since I was too poor to buy wall furnishings, I decided to make my own. I sat down with a blank canvas and realized I could paint! Since then, I have experimented with different styles and techniques. I hand-mix all my colors from the primary colors: red, yellow and blue, along with black and white.

I create whatever I think is beautiful, whether it be a portrait, animal, or even a single color. My artwork challenges me, giving me moments of clarity, frustration, and at times, euphoria. I thank God for my artistic abilities and for the precious beauty of the natural world around us."

Addy Nydegger is a registered nurse and proud Skagitonian. She and her husband Kyle have two perfect cats, and have had the opportunity to visit 49 National Parks. Alaska is next on their list.

Meet Addy at an Artist Reception on Friday, January 12th from 5:30-7:30 PM.

In the Art Bar: Bill Ball - Fireball

Bill Ball is an artist who constantly explores in all directions to find the path of the healing process in his creative work.  He works from a pure sense of artistic endeavor running fast and standing still with strong images and designs. He is open to whatever presents itself.

Bill surprises us with ideas we overlooked or never connected with. His courage in pushing the technical aspects of his media to express the raw ideas is inspiring.

"Meet the Artist" at a reception on December 30, 2017 prior to the showing of "Loving Vincent".  5pm to 7:15 pm
