Lincoln voted Best Theatre by Cascadia Weekly readers

According to Cascadia Weekly:

"When it comes to entertainment, voters made it clear Mount Vernon's Lincoln Theatre is the place they go. While it's cool that the restored vaudeville house (circa 1926) is a living piece of history, it's probably the fact they can see regional theatre. nationally lauded musical acts like the Wailin' Jennys, and both contemporary and classic films at the eye-cathching space that keeps them coming back."

We couldn't have put it better ourselves. Thanks to all of our patrons who voted!

Tulip Festival Street Fair Weekend Events

Friday, Apr 16, 12:00 pm
Saturday, Apr 17, 12:00 pm
Sunday, Apr 18, 10:00 am

In addition to this weekend's crowd pleasing adventure-fantasy film Percy Jackson and the Olympians the Historic Lincoln Theatre, for this weekend's Tulip Festival Street Fair, will present these other great family entertainments: on Saturday, as part of our Community Day, we present two bargain priced shows: The Green Bird at 12:00PM and

Late Nite with the Lincoln

$8 General; $6 Members; $4 12 & under (when applicable)

For all you nighthawks the Historic Lincoln Theatre is screening a series of Late Nite films with a focus on the cult movies of our past. Many of these films have acquired a highly devoted but specific group of (often obsessive) fans, some have gone on to transcend their original cult status and have become recognized as classics; others are of the "so bad it's good" variety and are destined to remain in obscurity.

A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Happy New Year!  As we enter 2010, you will notice some changes to the format of our Lincoln guide.  Most notably, we have moved to a two-month printed schedule of events, and will begin booking our films on a week-to-week basis, as other theatres do.  While I acknowledge this is quite a change from the past, I want to tell you how this benefits the organization and you, the patron:
